My computer does not recognize my USB Pinpad, what should I do?

Check that the driver has been installed correctly. Otherwise, download it from the download center and install it.


I need the PPC manual, which did not come with the product. Where can I find it?

Because this is a secure equipment, the device’s documentation is not provided. Contact your application’s EFT integrator for documentation for integrating the Pinpad with the customer’s system.


The pinpad is not turning on, what should I do?

If it is a USB pinpad, test it in other USB ports on the computer and also test on another computer. In the case of a Serial pinpad it is necessary to test it with another working psu to check if the problem is the psu, if not, send it to technical assistance.


When swiping the card in the reader, it cannot read cards of a specific brand (OR Redecard OR Cielo) in the pin pad. What could be happening?

Contact the company that provides EFT and check if the EFT system version is updated according to the pin pad version. Also check if the Pinpad is updated to the latest version released by brands, which is 1.07a.


The message “Pin pad locked” appears on the pin pad display. How do I unlock the pin pad?

If “locked” appears on the pin pad display, turn off the device, wait 10 seconds and turn it on again. If the Pinpad restarts with the same message, it will be necessary to forward it to Gertec Technical Assistance.
